Jason and Heather have been working as a couple with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship serving at University of California at Santa Cruz.  With a new baby this year, Jason continues on in a leadership role with InterVarsity and Heather takes a break to be home with James.   

 

One of the main purposes of InterVarsity is to establish more of God’s purposes in the world, and so the team at UC Santa Cruz are working to fulfill this purpose by raising up a generation of students who will become lifetime cross-cultural missionaries.   Jason believes that Kingdom values are primarily caught, not taught. Thus the heart of his ministry is not on programs, but rather on relationships.  Jason conducts weekly dorm-based Bible studies, weekend conferences, offers leadership training sessions, and participates in community service and summer missions.
