International Justice Mission @ Crosswalk
Freeing Slaves
It is bad business to buy slaves out of slavery, because it only encourages the slave owner. International Justice Mission estimates that the operation to rescue a bonded slave costs on average $500 per person and the operation to rescue a sex slave costs on average $1,000 per person. The High School students at Crosswalk are excited about how God is going to respond to our goal of raising $1,500 to free two slaves. You might be a part of God's response to a slave's need for freedom and a student's goal of bringing freedom.

Becoming a Prayer Partner
The work of IJM around the world is risky but important. IJM is always looking for people to join their work of bringing freedom through prayer. They understand the power of prayer to open doors of governments around the world, gain them access to dangerous places and protect those who are victims of injustice. If you would like to become an IJM prayer partner go to http://www.ijm.org/getinvolved/prayerpartners . Currently, IJM is requesting prayer in three areas perseverance, protection and love.
Joining the work of International Justice Mission
IJM is constantly looking for people who are willing to be their eyes and ears around the world and report injustices so that IJM can work with the local government to bring justice. There are also some incredible field opportunities for lawyers, social workers and law enforcement. More information is found at http://www.ijm.org/careers/jobopenings .
